So yesterday I had the most disappointing morning where my plans for Open Day were cancelled =.='. I called my brother to call him what he's up to but he's busy for church and all. He invited me but it's too far and I don't know where it is.
I was thinking of going back home but I already walked all the way to the station and there would be absolutely nothing to do at home but do projects - which would suck. I was pondering what to do when it came across my mind - hey! I haven't seen Chu in ages!
And so Vina decided to do some catching up with old friend Chu. I bought a $5 ticket to Glen Waverly.
Daym Chu I love your Ed Hardy jacket! =p I wish I had it. Gimme! Gimme!
So for the first time in who knows how many months I've been in Melbourne, I went inside Chu's house. It was small quaint and comfy. Things were packed into cardboard boxes already. Chu's mom gave me a good meal of fried rice ham salad and sunny-side egg. I squeezed out tons of lovely mayo ~
And after a short while, Chu and I went off to Glen Waverly Mall. Where I saw this:
OMG!!!!!! I was SO shocked when I saw it!!! Because it's exactly the same as my MANGO top (but slightly uglier). The only difference is this one is more dull in colour and there are less beads. I wonder which shop copied which??? But it's definitely cheaper in MANGO... and nicer for that matter.
If you'd like to see my MANGO top, it's in the post where I went back to Jakarta. I also wore it to Bali so you can check out my facebook if you want to go through all that trouble.
Aside from that, I saw these lovelies when I was in... was it Coles?
Aaaah omg it looks better in real life. The packaging is so nice and pretty. And they smell good. I bought the hand cream set of 3 and Chu was in love with the Mango scent which I didn't really like. So she paid me for the Mango one, while I got my Frangipani and Coconut hand creams. Yesss!
I also bought this Room Spray for $15:
It smells of Promegenate and I so love it. Sadly, the scent doesn't last... Omggg complaaiinnn!
And after that I bought a $2 apple cake which I hated and Chu liked. And Chu bought herself a rainbow ice cream which tasted like absolutely nothing in my mouth (don't ask why). She liked it though. It seems she loves what I hate.
And as we were heading home, we passed this store selling grilled chicken and it smelled soooooo good. We were outdoors already and it was rather chilly which made the smell even more tempting.
That is a very bad photo.
Anyway so we bought some and brought them home. I decided to have dinner with Chu and her Mom.
Chu's Mom was making those cream soups with the bread covering thing (yum! on a winter night!) and while we waited, I tried to blow the balloon which we bought at coles.
It was so hard!!!
I couldn't do it at all. I was running out of breath all the time. But Chu could. So what we did was she blew it, which loosened it, then I blew into the same one. Okay that sounds disgusting but if we didn't do that I wouldn't have been able to inflate it.
(Now I can though!!!)
Chu's mom.
The soup we had.
After that I went home. It was pretty cold so Chu and I zipped up our jackets and she walked me to the station. I reached home at around 8:15pm and then got to my projects. I think I've never procarstinated my projects to the extent of yesterday before. I finished everything at 12:15am though which is pretty good. I'm a fast worker when I am in the mood.
Today as I was going home, this little critter suddenly came up to me and asked to be pet. I've never seen it before. How come all cats come to me and ask to be pet??? Weird... I seem to have this magnetic attraction to animals or something. Or maybe the other cat which I usually pet has spread the gossip around.
=) Nothing, just wanted to show you guys that photo of pink sky! Well... it looks pinker in real life trust me... with fluffy clouds and all.
So Christmas is coming! I can't waiit it's my favourite event of the year! ^_^ Absolute fave. It's just so festive... with Christmas songs... sparkly, pretty decorations... Aaah...
I even dressed Gucci up for the occasion:
Eh isn't she cute ^_^. My brother bought that santa costume last Christmas when he came back from Malaysia. Speaking of Gucci, she is having her period for the second time!
The first was a pain... This time... we really wanted to do something about it... I googled and found that Doggy Diapers are sold. But as usual, not here in Indonesia. But apparantly, some people use baby diapers and it (somewhat) works for them! O_o
Hence my Mom went to buy some cheap diapers for testing...
Look at her thing... It's all swollen O_o
Gucci looks really cute here as if saying "Eh no, I won't wear baby diapers thanks I'm no baby ... ..."
Well I know why people don't use baby diapers on dogs now... Because they have what we don't... tails. Gucci's tail kept pushing the diaper down. And she kept chewing on it...
After a few seconds, it came off...
And then she wanted to play with it as a chew toy!
"No Gucci, you can't chew this, it gets messy"
So in the end, the solution of everything is... Gucci's natural instinct! She cleans up after herself frequently by licking her own pubes, and she never jumps to the couch. Good girl! =D
On another note, guess who came back from Australia without prior notice? Yes, Chu it is. We (Me, Susan, Chu, Ratna) hung out at Puri yesterday. Look what she got for us all! A bag of chocolates. Reminds you of Santa?
I don't eat THAT much chocolate, but I took 3 Time Outs. I love that! My fave kind of chocolate... the ones with biscuit inside. Oooh thanks Chu!
Below: Gucci having her period, so she had to stay in her cage. But we put her in the living room so she wouldn't get too bored. Aren't we nice? :)
^Hello, cutie! ^.^
She's watching Dragon Ball on Animax.
Later on at night, while I was calling Chu, it was raining so hard, I swear, it was the first time I was scared from... the rain. Yeah I was freaked out by the lightning and thunder, and the rain was hitting my window so hard, I hid under my blanket and sought comfort from Chu over the phone.
Fortunately, my mom came running up, followed by my dad (who was scared cause he was alone in the living room downstairs), and I was not scared anymore :).
Oh, the rainwater went in! It somehow got into my room through a small crack beneath my window. So this is what my mother did to my curtains so that it won't get wet:
Pretty creative eh? Lawl. Yeeess, my room looks like a clubbing area. I know. Wait till Chu sees the real thing. She's gonna say... *shudders*, nevermind that.
So we talked on the phone starting from 10.30pm, and talked about A LOT of things. So much that we didn't want to hang up, and planned to talk until 3am. Oh buuut, instead of 3am like we planned, we ended up sleeping at 4.30am.
Homigosh. That's my record time. I have never slept as late as that, I'm a good girl. Last time in sec 1 I would talk to Angelina on the phone until 1am, but compared to this, ... =_=
Yeah, we talked for 6 hours straight. About what? Now that I think about it... we talked about...dogs...people...guys...girls...school...mom...anime...manga...past memories...childhood emo...sleepovers...etc etc etc
And the next morning, foolish me, I woke at 8.30am. Why, body, why? Why let me sleep for 4 petty hours? Why can't you wake up at... 9.30am?? Huh??? *slaps self*
So for the whole day, I suffered lack of sleep. I walked with wobbly steps and dropped my brother's whole chunk of CFC fried chicken (yes, CFC still exists, in Summarecon). Clumsy + Dizzy + Lack of sleep = not good.
But yea you know, whatever man. =D I slept at 4.30am, talked on the phone for 6 hours, slept for 4 hours... It's all good! New experiences and records. =D Plus, Chu and I had a pleasant little talk, didn't we, Imouto? ^.^~
So after tuition today, me, my bro and mum, grandma & grandad, we went to check out this Music School in Serpong. And what's so shocking, is that my brother's driving all of us there.
He's actually getting pretty good in driving ^^ nyaa I'm so proud of you *pets*.
This is the wonderful music school:
You can't really see the beauty of it from this picture, but I tell you, I LIKE THE BUILDING!!! It's still 50% under costruction though (maybe renovation), but classes are already being held. I asked to see the classes, and in the hallway, this soothing piano melody lured me into the doorsteps of this one classroom with a photo of my personal fave, Chopin. Inside the little classroom, there sat a girl in a uniform playing the piano... and the song I recognized (maybe not, but I assumed from the music style), was Chopin.
For a long time I stood in front of the classroom listening the girl play the piano, and wishing "aah if only I could play the piano..." :(
We left off to Summarecon mall after that, passing these pwetty buildings (ruko). They look so nice! I felt like I was in another country altogether. Ah Serpong I love you...
^That is Stella Maris, Recca's school. Damn, your school is big! D=<
Summarecon Mall was filled with (my brother said) ABG people. It is true. So many students everywhere @_@.
So anyways, I went to Duta Suara shop beside the food court, and bought these:
...and another CD called Classic Fantasy 2, a compilation of classical music. Oh and a Master of Fantasy CD which I bought for 15thou, but left it in the shop =_=.
The first one, you can tell, is Utada Hikaru
The second CD, is the one I want to talk about. It is called Love 2, author: Yao Si Ting. Usually, if I see those kinds of album covers, I wouldn't even... Yeah, I don't like it. But when I was in the little wood, sound-proof room, flipping over classical CDs, the speaker was playing songs from that CD, and I was... I was just... ENTRANCED! What beautiful voice! It is the voice of... an angel *_*...
Trust me, you guys should buy that CD if you see it. I promise, they are English songs. Here is the list from the album Love 2:
Scarborough fair
Starry, starry night
Angel (THIS IS SO F*CKING GOOD)
Where's my love
I CRY
Don't cry for me argentina
You raise me up (yes, we know this song)
Take a bow (nice one! i think it is based on Shakespeare)
No matter what
How did I fall in love with you (THIS IS AWESOMEEEE!!!)
Everytime (surprise, this is Britney's song. And the way she sang it, i almost cried ;_;)
Edelweiss
The sound of silence (nice!)
You guys probably don't know half the songs up there, neither did I, but it's worth it... HER VOICE!!! *0*!!!
I just knew Audiophiles are so awesome =v= Gonna go buy more of those. Aah~
How Did I Fall In Love With You
Remember when, we never needed each other. The best of friends like Sister and Brother. We understood, we'd never be Alone. Those days are gone, and I want you so much. The night is long and I need your touch. Don't know what to say. I never meant to feel this way. Don't want to be Alone tonight. What can I do, to make you mine? Falling so hard so fast this time. What did I say, what did you do? How did I fall in love with you? I hear your voice And I start to tremble. Brings back the child that I resemble. I cannot pretend, that we can still be friends. Don't want to be Alone tonight. Oh I want to say this right and it has to be tonight. Just need you to know, oh yeah I don't want to live this life. I don't want to say goodbye.
Note to all: When listening to audiophiles, turn your volume up TWICE your usual.
Thank you for being there, when no one seems to care to even know. Thank you for your time and eager willingness to help me. For everything had seemed so dark and lonely until you repeated over and over again: "I'll always be there for you" We might not see much of each other but you make every effort and every moment worthwhile. When what I used to believe was crushed and shattered, you took the initiative to fix it up for me. You spend time on me graciously. And you think it's not enough to make me feel slightly better; I had to feel "the best", you said. You're trustworthy, loyal, and the most caring person. You listen to me in times of need, and you genuinely want me to be happy. I'm so fortunate to have you with me.
Friends forever. To her, who I have promised a long time ago to write on, but never found the right moment. Well, this is it. :)
