The Gucci Post 2

Saturday, May 31, 2008

I have shocking news, guys.

Unfortunately, Gucci cannot write out a diary for you all in this Gucci Post because, well...

She's bleeding.

Yes, bleeding. Blood. Red.
I first realised it when my T-Shirt had red/brown blotches on it after hugging Gucci.
Btw, if you all haven't gotten the message yet, (probably the guys) she's having menstruation =_=... for the first time!!! Her first menstruation!!! Period! PMS!

We can't possibly lock Gucci in her cage all day, but when we take her in, and she sits down on the white tiles...

*BLOTCH*

Mum & I: /omg

We tried wiping her um... thing, with the newspaper, but it wasn't much use. Any advice, anyone? T.T I just wanna make her wear panties with sanitary napkins in it to make it easier on all of us but that will just be weird.

GUCCI GALLERY:
(PRIOR WARNING: For those who get disgusted easily at the sight of blood, DO NOT SEE THE FOLLOWING PICTURE. Just scroll back up.)
No pics of Gucci (sorry, Ratna), but this is a picture of my t-shirt with the blood stain.

That's the first stain, so it wasn't that bad. Oh well. =(
My baby has grown up.
Now she can have puppies xD
But my Dad don't want that =S

My 3-days Break!

Aiight this is cool. I had my little break and I feel great! After this break, I only have the easier (some) IGCSE papers left (my Finals are done! ^^V).

So what did I do during the break? SHOP!!! I shopped like ... yeah. When your mum is with you, it makes shopping much easier, really... If you know what I mean, which I'm sure you do =D...

Thursday - spent the whole day in TA. Lugged my violin all the way from 11am to 6pm... I was planning to change the strings (since it is already so RUSTY), but when I went to gramedia, there was only a few choices. The guy told us to go MG at Pang Lima Polin (or something... that's what it sounded like).

Bought clothes and stuff. Waited for my brother for such a long time as he did his own shopping. We tried on rockstar leather jackets... I waited for him in front of the fitting room... I just SAT there (kayak gembel) and he threw the clothes over the space above the fitting room door, landed on my face. -_- We were so lame.

Oh yeah. We also fooled around the dart-throwing lottery thing. I made fun of my brother, but it turns out he got all the targets! =D So now we are 1 out of 18thousand-something other people who threw the dart right! Yay!

Friday - Awesome. We went to Pacific Place today to check out this 2-storey music store. I must say, IT IS FRIKIN COOL! Oh. I brought my violin along again... Not surprisingly, they didn't sell any violin stuff at all -_- "Coming soon", the guy said.

But that's okay though, seeing the place was worth it. Being amongst all those music instruments made me feel... Aah =D. I wanted to take pictures of the amazing flutes, trumpets, and grand pianos (they look BEAUTIFUL! all gold and shiny) but the shopkeepers were there so I didn't... sorry readers xD

But worry not! I have some cool stuff for you guys:

The drum showcase! Woww cool! They had all these shiny bling thing. Very nice showcase by the way =D

Oh if only I could play the guitar/bass. There was this Gibson guitar, looking all classy in white... I was like... O_O Miaw I want that...

My brother said the basses sold aren't so good though.

After the music store, we went to this CD store, where my bro and I tested out a few CDs (bro- bass stuff. me- piano stuff... no violin there, sold out). While we did so, my mom was all amazed at the Michael Buble performance on the large TV in the store =D

Then we had lunch at Pure... A "healthy" restaurant. Organic food, and stuff. It's kinda good though:

The flower tea! It smelt so goooood...
Oh I also saw Kidzania for the first time =p...

After all that, we left for MG in Pang Lima Polin (again, I'm not sure about that name). It had one floor for Violin, Cello, Accoustic Guitar, and another for Electric Bass, Electric Guitar... The place wasn't as fancy as the one in Pacific Place, but this store had more variety.

Oooh all the accoustics. There are a couple with vintage designs I liked.

A Silent Violin!!! I want it!!! Saw a guy in youtube use it before. But it was expensive =(

Aha! My goal finally accomplished. Bought a set of violin strings for 345thou. Josie's recommended brand, Pilastro, was around 500thou (chrome material I think) -_- omg. Maybe I will buy that when my violin playing is good. =D Right now it stills sucks so yeah.

What a tiring day! And I only had six hours of sleep too T_T Went home, slept, and when I woke up, my mom had already picked up my contact lenses from Hypermart! Yes, it is blue and green. But don't worry, I'm not going to wear each eye with different colour (people will think I am cosplaying Yuna). Green comes first ^^

Phew! That's it for now, guys! After a long pause in blogging ^_^ Finally a new post.
See yah guys~

New Blog Layout!

Sunday, May 25, 2008

Ello guys.
I finally made my own banner to put as the blog layout!
As you can see, the blog is now cool in blue =3
I put EVERYONE I am close to in my banner picture. Do not be angry coz there's only one you, coz it wasn't easy to fit every photo in and make it visible T_T Sorry...

The editing wasn't that great. It turned out too crowdy, and well, I don't really like it, honestly. But since it is filled with such lovely photos, hehe...

I will love and miss you guys.

Yay! I could kinda do the english IGCSE today...! I didn't write a sadistic story at all...~ Whee~ But my my style was... sort of simple. This is what I wrote on my EL final exam:

(from 100 years ago) A japanese wife wants to kill her husband by putting poison in his sake but he saw through her plan, and in the ending, he pulled her to the floor, then tipped(forcefully) the whole sake bottle into her mouth, and left her to die.

This is what I wrote for my IGCSE:

(it is year 2035...a boy gets a portable time machine for his birthday) The boy didn't pick a specific time to land on so he just chose randomly, and where he arrived, his house was empty. So was his whole neighborhood. The town remained the same, but there was no one there. It turns out he landed on 'the end of the world'. But when he checked the newspaper, he found out that he only jumped time by one day. He wanted to go back to tell everybody, but his little time machine refused to work. Then he realised that down the streets, the electric cables were torn down. So he was stuck in the future.

Yeah well, that's the brief summary of it.

During the exam, a ringtone rang out, and it was the song from 'One Missed Call'... The song that the ghost uses as her ringtone!!! T_T My heart jumped and I was slightly afraid, but stifled a laughter (susan somehow heard this).

Oh. The elections for Prom King & Queen came out... I voted CHU as King! ^_^ It was Susan's idea actually, and I instantly dig it... =p And I voted Stella as Queen (cos I don't know, I've just been imagining her winning it).

When I reached home, I realised my fringe grew too long again -_- that was fast... So I cut it again, and cut it wrong =p hopefully it grows before prom... With that new fringe, I found out that if I cut my whole long hair, I would look better. So I did... Here's the result...

I feel very... silly and dopey in this hair... =_=" As you can see... I look sorta dumb... =_=
Anyway. Imma go. Oh. I have a new friendster account now. Just add it up with my e-mail vina-k@live.com

I don't want to use my 2nd account 'cause well, it's been abandoned =p and there are many strange testimonials there. So okay, see ya guys!

The Gucci Post 1

Hello, readers!

I am starting a new thing in my blog called "The Gucci Post" =p well yeah I guess we all know what this is about... Here goes!

~~~
Dear Diary,
Hello. This is my first post here, in momma Vina's blog. She's cool, by the way. So this is what has been up with me...
I watch TV now. I watched La Corda D'oro (Or at least it's what my momma calls it. It's filled with hot guys. No wonder she loves it! I love it too!) with momma yesterday. I first started watching TV when my family showed me a video of my cute naked self taking a shower. I was startled, and freaked out at first. How is there a giant ME in that box?!?! O_o Gucci SHOCK!
Then one day momma started to force me into watching Animal Planet. I was so horrifed when the lion fed on the deer! WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?!?! T__T I was so scared, I scratched momma's neck... Sorry, momma... :( I am so grateful to be here, safe with my family.
Well, thank you for reading my diary. This is me, your cute little web dog, signing off. =3
Licks and more licks,
GUCCI
~~~
Alright, that was short. You can write more than that, Gucci! Well, that's it, folks. The purpose of The Gucci Post: to exhibit new pictures of Gucci & for Gucci to share her daily pooch days with ya'll.
Gucci Gallery:

Gucci likes to lick!

@Janet: no, this is not a baboon. @Irene: no, this is not a goat.

A horrible day? A fun day?

Saturday, May 17, 2008

Okay. Today was my IGCSE English First Languange Paper 2. What can I say... The fact that I forgot to write the question numbers when usually I never make such silly mistake makes me angry enough... =_=... AND the fact that I didn't manage to write out one page for the summary, AND the fact that my summary sounded like an article.

So I, being pissed and all, goes to TA and after tuition, had fun like hell. Point: I just knew how FUNNY Giorgio is, and how WEIRD Daryl can be! Irene and I couldn't stop laughing from tuition time until 7pm. We ate at Ajisen Ramen (which was too expensive for the guys, they claimed -_-), played in Timezone, met Michelle, and Giorgio left before we could take a picture together!!! Why??? D=<

But anyways, I had a lot of fun. So now I'm not stressed from English anymore. Too much laughter =D. Here's the pic we took:

The pictures down the 1st column are definitely the weirdest.

Oh and on another note, I don't like Daryl's pout. >.< Irene finds it okay though. And Giorgio looked so sad during tuition when we said we might not want Bio tuition. So sad that Irene and I felt bad ;_;...

Letsee, what else happened? Oh. We went to the drivers' canteen in the TA basement. Well, almost went in. But we didn't. Haha... What's it called again, Irene? I can't remember. The kwetiau (sp...?) smelt so GOOD!!!

Hmmm more things that happened today... Oh yeah. I just discovered that Chu can play the piano, and Susan has improved in her To Zanarkand since the last time she played it over the phone =D. I also found out that a door beside the stage on the 7th floor leads to this wide, big balcony that's really windy and nice...! Awesome~

Okay, I have Maths Paper 4 on Monday. Wish me luck, my beloved readers! *kiss* ^3^

The Pantat

Thursday, May 15, 2008

Okay dis is gonna be quick. Since I'm actually online to study for English IGCSE...
Few weeks ago, Susan and I went to Chu's house to study and we looked at her English notes for IGCSE and stuff.

Yesterday, Chu went to the teacher's room, and saw my class's homework on "5 paragraphs"...
Note: Ms.V = Miss V***A, my English "teacher" (you all know her, BBS-ers)

Chu: Oh miss, is that the homework where they had to do 5 paragraphs with the list of ten things?
Ms. V: (Gasps) How did you know that?!
Chu: I have my sources, miss... I have my sources...
(Conversation flows for a while)
Ms.V: Wait, don't tell me you tell them stuff, too
Chu: Well yeah, i guess.
Ms.V: You didn't show them the past year papers did you?
Chu: Uh... no, i only helped some of them-
Ms.V: Who? Who did you help? (piercing accusing glare)
Chu: Uh, just Vina and Susan, that's all. No one else has asked for my help. But don't worry miss, i mostly helped them out in Biology. English i just let them read a few of the compositions you gave us.
Ms.V: But did you show them your past year papers?
Chu: Oh that, nah, when they came to my house to study, they got too lazy to read the past year papers and we decided to watch Anime instead.
Ms.V: Well don't, you're not supposed to.
Chu: ... Why not?
Ms.V: Because they're not supposed to be helped. THEY were the ones who wanted to take the IGCSE O-level -I don't understand why- and so it's THEIR responsibility. Not ours.
Chu: But. Miss-
Ms.V: The next time they ask you for help. Don't.
Chu: Oh yeah, the next time they ask me i guess I'll just say I'm too lazy to help. (laughs wryly)
Ms.V: No, no. You just tell them I'm not letting you tell them. Tell the truth.
Chu: Uh, okay then. Bye Miss.

What the F^CK!?!?!
And then Chu said she was going to scold me and Susan. FOR WHAT, huh, V****?!?! FOR WHAT??? First of all, it's MY RIGHT to ask ANYBODY about IGCSE English. YOU can't tell ANYONE to NOT tell us anything! Because it's his/her mouth, not yours, b1tch. Yeah, fine, it's my responsibility to want to take IGCSE. Well, that's exactly why I'm asking Chu, not you. She's a student, and she's my friend. She happens to have notes, and I want to see them. Am I asking anything from you? NO.

As a teacher, you should be more responsible in the first place. Other teachers give us trials, and teach us on the things we don't understand. Even though no, it's not in our program, you are supposed to SUPPORT us. Apparently though, you don't give a damn. In fact, you PUNISH us for taking the IGCSE. Giving us homework during IGCSE week? Fun, eh? To see us do your little BROCHURE when there's a Math paper the next day. A BROCHURE??? Is that even going to help us in the least bit for our Final Exams??? Oh, I see, you're not even going to help us for our Finals, is that it? AND I DIDN'T DO YOUR RIDICULOUS BROCHURE, BY THE F*CKING WAY.

You know what, after all the exams are over and you think you've had us done with, think again. 'Cause Dr.San is going to get a call from someone very angry. And you know what he's gonna say? Everything I've told him about you. So long, b1tch.

Random pic of cawanmushi I had... It was so cute! >w<

Tuition at Mr. Shafiq's! Haha I think Irene will be kinda surprised to see this photo here. =p

Mie Kuah... My mom bought this new bowl and I really like it! It's got this korean air about it... Hehe... And I ate my noodles with korean chopsticks too!

I had sore throat so this was what was in my bag... I mean WOW. I peed 15 times that day. Highest record of all time. Why I'm exposing that in my blog, I don't know.

A rat in school! 5th floor classroom.

Okay! Enough of photo sharing. Let's start with the blog~

As you all know! This week is IGCSE week for me. Next week will be Final Exam AS-Level week. The week after that is my second IGCSE week. So for 3 whole weeks, I will be having an exam every single day (almost). Well isn't that wonderful!

Last Saturday, I studied for Chemistry Paper 3 (structure questions) from 10am till 8pm. Sunday from 2pm till 9pm. I mean non-stop. Except maybe for lunch, shower and dinner. I mean... was I out of my mind? For two whole days, all I thought about was chemistry: Equations... Identification of cations, gases, metals, anions... Reactivity Series... Extraction of metals... Cracking... Zinc Blende (for some reason)... I memorized them in the toilet, in the shower, during meals, before I sleep... I mean wow. Really. Vina just doesn't go around with chemistry in her head. But then again there's a first for everything.

So Chemistry turned out okay, I guess. Except for the fact that I didn't study on how to gain pure copper from whatever thingy, and that costed me FOUR FRIKIN MARKS!!! But anywho.

Next up was Biology Paper 6. That's today, by the way. Hey that rhymes! So let me tell you how I studied for it... After Chemistry on Monday 4pm, I had tuition and reached home at 7pm. I was barely able to read the book. So I slept at 9pm.

But I woke up at 2am, in the middle of the night. Diagrams of biological structures infested my mind, and for some reason, S + O2 = SO2... IT WAS BUGGING ME BRAINS AN' I COULDN'T GET ANY SLEEP!!! Grrrr...! This is what happens when you study too much! I swear! In the end, after losing hope of getting any sleep, I did my Past Year Papers. Then at 3am, I finally managed to doze off.

Went to school usual time, studied, discussed problems with people, and finally, it was time for my Biology Paper 6. What can I say... I will hate tomatoes for the rest of my life now. It came out. And I screwed up. Also screwed up on the sexual reproduction in plant. I mean... sexual reproduction in plants. I could care less. -_-

After my Bio, I had my AS-Level Chemistry Practical Test. Ohmygod. It was so hard. And I had to repeat the dilution of stupid FA1 because the beaker wrote FA2 instead of FA1, so I did the wrong thing... Unbelievable isn't it? The most difficult part was the calculations... I swear I will get 0/12 on that thing. I gave up! Chemistry just isn't right for me! I knew it, I knew it...

Oh and we had a discussion about prom. We talked and talked, and my class persuaded me into joining prom (I was kind of lazy at first). I mean, now that I think about it, it will be the last time all of us can gather in one place and enjoy ourselves to the breaking point. Especially since I'll be going to uniprep, I won't be able to see them. Note: That's why, Chu, Susan, Ratna, I want you guys to be there!!!

After school, I gazed at the school corridor when I was about to go home, waiting for the lift. I realized that I might miss this school after all. Not because of the system (obviously), but all the experiences I've had in this small little 7-storey building. The times I suffered from stress, pressure... My crying and kicking in the toilet (more exposure on me! I'm feeling kind today) when I was so stressed because I felt hopeless from failing every Chemistry test no matter how hard I tried (see?). Annie Musical Drama in sec 1 which made up a huge part of me... The days when it was so HOT in class, but we studied anyway and never got free periods... Ahh... Sweet times, sweet times. =')

I feel slightly stunned by the fact that soon I will never see these people that I've been meeting every day of my life for 7 years. After IGCSE and the Final Exam, after all hell has broken loose, we have prom, and this chapter closes. I will move to Uniprep, study on design, abandon all knowledge on science I've gained from my whole life of education, meet new people, completely new teaching system... I don't know if I should be scared, or excited, but for this very instant, I know I'm feeling sad.

Like a Shadow

Friday, May 9, 2008

I was born an angry kid. To my parents, I showed defiance like I held my pride and ego. My tantrums went on for years and it wasn't easy to fix. Even now the violent, devilish child resides in me. It is like another personality all together - but one that is so familiar, so close. I knew it, lived with it, by it, and had at times allowed it to overcome my morality. My family was very normal, but I was not like the usual daughter. I wasn't very happy with anything.

I would label myself as an expressionist. My feelings will continue to haunt me until the moment I take out a piece of paper, and draw, paint, or write. Sometimes, feelings are my biggest enemy. Often I wish to throw them away, rip them out of my system - be completely over and done with it. Yet it is a part of me, like it is to everybody else. I yearn and desire to put things on paper, something that will remind of a certain sensation I had experienced. Even in anger, I find comfort.

People don't understand me though, and I don't understand it fully either as yet. Many instances I would question my sanity, shame and hate the person I have grown to be. Nobody can tell my true nature, even those very close to me. All they have seen is simply one side, and they hate even a hint of my second. Recently I have been losing control, and it scares me to once again be reminded of my other self. But then again, they say only the strong will survive.

Seraphim

Thursday, May 8, 2008

7th May 2008, 7pm was (should be) a wonderful night for all Seraphim members! (Note: Seraphim Orchestra: school's orchestra) On the school's seventh floor, a 2-hour-long concert, "Seraphim and Friends" was held, all for a very reasonable price of Rp10,000. ("Friends" being other musically-gifted students of Bina Bangsa School)

I was slightly stunned by the quality of the performance - my expectations were not that high (no offence to Seraphim members, I meant the sound system and coordination etc. Since well, it's Bina Bangsa School we're talking about). The sound system was satisfying, so was the lightning and the time management.

Performances that appealed to me are: of course, Edward and his brother (though I was not too eager about "When You Tell Me That You Love Me", but I loved the Sound of Music!), Seraphim's Terra's Theme (the second part was AWESOME, guys! Didn't expect that), Wesley and his flute gang (a song I found very fantasy-ish and enriching), Wilson (I bow to him for playing my favourite, Chopin, though I had hoped to hear Fantasia Impromptu), Edward (I didn't know he could play that well!), and of course, Keezia (I dig the end of the song).

Likewise, there were performances that disappointed me (and I was looking forward to them the most), but they shall remain disclosed. When the concert was over, the girls and I took photos (of course, for my baby blog).

The (female) audiences from Sun Tzu.

Ojii-san and I.

Mei and me.

From the left: Ratna, Susan, Josie, Allison, Me.

Ratna and Allison are in Seraphim (I don't have a picture of Bella! T_T I'm so sorry, Dot!) and as you can see, their new uniform(for the girls) consist of: white blouse, black vest, black skirt, black stockings, black Mary-Janes (shoes).

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention... Susan pointed out that Sammy's bowing was weird. Well, it was! It seemed almost robotic and stiff; a very comical moment, really.
